With ample space, Laurie's shop specializes in retail for all your entertaining needs, any gift-giving for all ages, including men and women, top food products, and lots of furniture geared towards your entertaining, dining, and kitchen spaces. She started this new space for her love of food, her love of all things kitchen, and entertaining with family and friends.

Laurie Green Bakke made her mark in Hendersonville, NC, when she opened Cafe Laurie in 2002. For six years, her restaurant embodied a fresh, fast gourmet-to-go style that quickly caught on and established Laurie Bakke and Cafe Laurie as a unique addition to the culinary world.
After selling Cafe Laurie, she wrote a self-published cookbook called Laurie Bakke's Kitchen.
Laurie has established a venture with The Marketplace on Locust in downtown Hendersonville, NC. It's part of the historic downtown area off of 7th Avenue that is being revitalized. There are two breweries, a pasta shop, a wonderful bakery, and more.
